12/30/17 is the number 7. There is a feeling of getting back into gear after the holidays. Now I know one more is coming up but there is a bit of  “lets go” energy moving you forward. Having a plan for 2018 is a great way to get started today. Begin those New Year’s Resolutions and challenge yourself to lean into some edges that will manifest more happiness and re-prioritize your life out of certain habits of habitual behavior and into something that will really serve you moving forward.
The Moon continues its transit of Taurus until 3:32 AM EST, after which it moves through the sign of Gemini. The Moon in Gemini is a mental, curious, friendly, and sometimes nervous or fickle energy. You might notice a stronger need to communicate and to express your ideas today. You adapt quickly to change, and crave surprise, novelty, and intelligent responses in others. Saturday is great for running errands and sending “Thank you” cards. A semi-sextile between Mercury and Jupiter also points to some inability to settle on a particular idea, opinion, or project. However, you are thinking more positively, and will tend to bounce back quickly from disappointment. As the day advances, grab hold of all that imagination and creatively communicate with others in a warm and considerate way.

We decided to go to the coast and hang out for two days. It is so beautiful and the weather is cooperating. I love this time of year here. We get these crystal clear blue skies and warmer weather. It is perfect to go hiking and to just relax and watch the ocean waves. I am grateful to live close enough to the ocean that we can just get in the car and go and in an hour plus be in a very different place.
