Numerology/Astrology for 2/19/18

2/19/18 is the number 5. Get ready. Get grounded. And get ready. It is all about preparedness today. What are you preparing for? What are you working towards? What are the building blocks that will allow you to create what you want? It is time to do the work that is necessary to make your world what you had hoped. No one is coming. No one is going to do it for you. It is time. Take the risk and start.
The Moon is in Aries all day, and making you feel more excited about that new beginning. And you are finally ready to take the initiative and start. Mars and the North Node for a trine today, also in Fire signs, and challenges or some light competitiveness motivate you into movement. You have the chance to reassess those goals and realign yourself with a new purpose. There is a sense that you are heading in the right direction and that you want to take steps to grow and improve. New opportunities abound to help you achieve your desires. Also, today, a Venus-Pallas sextile assists us socially. In your dealings with others, it is time to get focused on being fair and balanced. Know that you are in great shape artistically, particularly with design.

Quote

The love that you refuse to let in
starves your very soul.
The things that you hide in your heart
and refuse to share with others
destroys your confidence.
The fear that you hold onto so tightly
will drain your life force away.
The energy that you use
to keep others at a distance
is exhausting for them
to constantly push up against.
The argument you are having
in your head it not real.
If you are willing to change your story
you can change your experience.

Revolutionary Love

It becomes an act of will to wonder….Why?
Forgiveness is not forgetting.
Forgiveness is freedom from hate.
Participation in self oppression comes at a cost.
It cuts us off from our own capacity to love.
We love our opponent when we tend to the wound in them.
Tending to the wound is not healing them.
Only they can do that.
Tending to the wound only allows us to see the opponent, the terrorist, the fanatic, the demigod.
They have been radicalized by cultures, beliefs, and policies that can be changed.
If we are to love our opponents we have to love ourselves.
You have to tend to your own rage and grief first.
Only then can you change the system.
This is a feminist time of intervention.
For too long women have been told to suppress their rage and suppress their grief in the name of love and forgiveness.
But when we suppress our rage that is when it hardens into hate directed outwards but usually it is also inwards.
Mothering teaches us that all emotions are necessary.
Joy is the gift of love.
Grief is the price of love.
Anger is the force that protects love.
We love ourselves when we breathe through the fire of pain and refuse to let it harden into hate.
That is why love needs to be expressed in all three ways in order for it to be revolutionary.
Loving just ourselves feels good … but is narcissism.
Loving only our opponent is self-loathing.
Loving only others is ineffective, which is where a lot of our movements live right now.

In order to love others you have to see No Stranger.
When you train your brain to see that others are a part of you that you do not yet know. You allow that choice of wonder.

Then you are listening for their stories and to know them.

In order to love your opponent, you have to tend to the wound.
Can you see the wound in the ones that hurt you?
Can you wonder about them?
And if that thought sends you into panic then it time to wonder listen and respond to your own needs.
In order to love yourself you have to breathe and push.
When you are pushing into the fires of intimacy in your body or the fires of the world you need to be breathing together in order to be pushing together.
How are you breathing each day?
Who are you breathing with?
Because when news comes in that hits our bodies hard in that moment it feels like dying.
And it is in those moments when someone touches your face and asks you to dance with them in the darkness and breathe with them in that darkness, that then you know the very expression of love
Your “family” becomes a pocket of revolutionary love.

And your joy becomes an act of moral resistance.
How are you protecting your joy?
Because in your joy you see even darkness with new eyes.
What if this darkness you feel is not the darkness of the tomb but the darkness of the womb.
What if your future is not dead.
It is just waiting to be born.
What if this moment is your great transition.
If you don’t push you will die.
If you don’t breathe you will die.
To be a person of revolutionary love you have to breathe and push through the fire.
You have to have a warriors heart and a saints eyes so that one day you will see all children as your own.
And protect them and teach them how to love themselves because you love yourself.
You will whisper love in each others ears as I whisper you yours, “You are brave.”
