2/22/2022 is the number 12.

2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 12. 1 + 2 = 3

 

The Number 3 reminds us to look at both sides and both directions before we step out and into the world.

The duality of this world expands into more extreme positions today and us with it. While the number 3 is intended to be a positive it reminds us that to have resolution we have to be inclusive of that duality in which we live. To do that we often need a third point of reference, neither taking one side or another but objectively looking at both from a completely different angle. That is how we learn to see past duality and into the larger and broader issues at hand.
With this number we are being asked to look honestly at what are our deep-seated personal illusions and our unrealistic perfectionism.

We live in a world that continues to want to live in the delusion that we should always get what we deserve rather than learning to deal with what is happening in the moment.

We can use the amazing depth inherent within this number to illuminate those things that are trying to get us to see how conflict and perfectionism work together to destabilize things.

We can mistakenly believe that our shallow commitments will create happiness when there is so much more being asked of us today.
The trick today is to not put a positive spin on situations in which the negativity is so blatantly obvious. If we are unwilling to see the problems arising, we will also not come up with solutions to those problems.

Astrology for Today

The Moon is in the emotionally complex sign of Scorpio and it asks us to be brave when facing the emotional onslaught of feelings that are now going to arise.

The passionate intensity of some intends to override others and that is going to force some to engage in ways that are dangerous and subversive.

Neptune and Vesta are going to sextile and it will become clear that more energy is going to be required going forward.

Certain causes are going to ask for our help. It is our devotion to them that can support change, in a dangerous world whose course is unfolding.
Mars and Pluto will parallel and while this adds to our ability to focus, others are going to leap into action and that will be the energy requested of us.

We may not be able to control others and certain situations. Our own objectivity is in question today.
The Pluto Return hits full force, and it will reveal much and manifest great destruction. It is a time of great upheaval, powerful restructuring of our old patterns and beliefs and it marks the end of empires.
Pluto tends to destroy to then generate a new path forward.
Don’t forget that the US being formed by the signing of the Declaration of Independence was followed by a war with the British.
Pluto shows us our shadow and the radical disparities that we have allowed to continue in the world.
What now follows is going to be major … and time consuming.

Many imbalances will need to be addressed. Pluto rules over pollution, destruction, and broad scale issues that have now hit a critical mass.
What is clear is that as we move into this very new reality and when Pluto goes finally into Aquarius (March of 2023), we are going to reinvent ourselves and bring things more forward and into the light.

How can we improve our karmic path ahead?

I know that the first step is always kindness.

When we do not know what to do.

Being kind can help in ways that make small things improve.

I have listened to my ancestors speak about the wars they have lived through.

I have studied what I can … to understand this tremendous negative force that powers war and hate.
It is conflict that plagues humanity’s soul.

I know that many care and want peace for the greater good of all.

I pray for leaders that can hold strong in a world at the edge … again.

War is never an answer to anyone or anything.

It is an atrocity that causes suffering and solves nothing.

War is an emotion that wants to take without payment of any kind.

It is only intended to override and deny the rights of others.
There are wars of words where hate is actively concealed.

There are wars against those that believe different than us.

There are wars that haunt the ages and will not let us forget.

Because some things that mankind has done are so terrible that we must shudder in horror as we remember.
