Numerology/Astrology for 2/28/20

2/28/20 is the number 7. If you add the 2 + 2 + 8 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 16. 1 + 6 = 7.

There are structures within structures. But today, get down to the original base structure of what it is that you want in your life. Keeping things simple and learning to do one thing at a time helps in preventing overwhelm. When you chunk things down to a size that you can manage then all things seem doable. It is the structures that allow us to feel calm. It is the structures that create routines that become a part of our daily habits and patterns. We can rest in healthy structures. Unfortunately unhealthy ones ,break us down, bit by bit. Notice which ones work for you and then allow those to continue. Look at the ones that do not work and decide to change them into something more constructive.

Quote

Never doubt that within you is a primal fighting self.
Within each person are many various power animals
that have tools, insights, and skills designed
to help you in your most desperate moments.
Somewhere you have the fangs and intelligence of a wolf.
Somewhere you have the claws and wisdom of a dragon.
Somewhere you have the overview and clarity of a hawk.
Somewhere you have complex understanding of the
interconnectedness all things.
Those power animals speak to you inside and outside.
Do you notice that squirrel watching you in the tree?
Do you talk to the raven that is speaking to you?
Do you leave offerings of food acknowledging
the sacredness in all things?
Do you understand how much of life keeps trying
to get your attention?
Stop….. Listen…….Notice what is happening.
You have a part to play.
You are being asked to participate.
You are needed.
Will you answer the call?

Blog

Every day I look out and have my routine to help the planet. Every few days I go out and water my baby redwood trees.
I have put them by some bigger older trees and I tell those Grandmother trees, thank you for protecting the babies. Every morning, I wake up because I hear in my mind the stray female, fixed orange tabby that I have named Samantha. She is always waiting for me under the van. She has never meowed. She has never purred. She will not let me touch her. She is more and more relaxed with me as I put the food out and I talk to her each morning. She has had a life of hardship. You can see it in her old, wise eyes. She has learned to not trust others. They have clearly betrayed her over and over again. She knows how to depend on herself. But now, for the first time, she is learning to depend on me. She is learning to accept help. I give her the cooked salmon skin from the previous night. I make sure she has something very tasty and healthy. Over the years her coat has improved. Her eyes have brightened. She will slowly blink when I am around (that is a sign that a cat is relaxed). She will never let me pet her. I have occasionally gotten so close that I bump her with the bowl when I put it under the van by the wheel. She does not hiss at me. She knows that I will not hurt her. She looks forward to me coming out and she waits patiently from around 5:30 am for me. She can wake me up as she telepathically tells me she is there and waiting. She likes to have her breakfast before the other animals and birds wake up. Because she shares her food with the fox and the ravens. The ravens get going as the sun comes up. But they wait for her to have her turn. There is always more than enough left from her. She and the fox are clearly best friends. They touch nose to nose as they pass each other on the way to the food bowl. The fox loves to growl at me. Making himself sound much bigger than he really is. I tell him how beautiful he is regardless of his growling. It is his way to letting me know that he is there. Once all of that is done, I am off to feed the hummingbirds and the regular birds. As it is spring, more birds are coming through and the feeders get empty more quickly. Soon the banded pigeons will come in. There are about 50 of them and they are very skittish. They know me and there are a few watchers that are high up in the trees by the feeder. They call out and fly away to let the others know that the food is there. They slowly, quietly, they come in, a few at a time, and sit in the trees. Waiting for there to be total quiet. Only then will they swoop down and gorge as many seeds as they can stuff in their craw. They take the seeds to the nesting babies. I sit in my office doing my blog and watch out the window for them to trust enough to swoop in. Then I fill the bowls of pebbles with water for the birds. It is beautiful to see them come in for a drink and a bath. Small things make a difference and allow for that life to have support and a bit of ease. Everyone deserves a little help in life. What can you do to help the natural world survive? All life needs your help in some way. It is the natural world that allows me to feel like I can consistently help and make a difference. Humans are more difficult to help. They resist help. They push truth away. They refuse to eat what is offered in kindness. They are impatient. They demand and don’t request. They want more than is being offered. They do not show gratitude often enough. How can you today be more grateful at what is offered? How can you consistently give something and put that into your daily routine? Will you allow something to depend on you and feel as if it can count on you? That is what commitment is really about. In life, commit to things that help change the world for the better. One small step at a time. But it is the consistency that makes it work the best. If you truly love something, you will have the devotion to be there and help. You cannot know true love if you are not devoted. You cannot be devoted if you cannot commit. You cannot commit if you will not decide to be consistent.
