Numerology/Astrology for 3/10/15
Today is the number 12/3. The number 12 is associated with Pisces, which is a sign of completion of karma. The number 12 is also associated with the Hanged Man, which is a caution about becoming trapped in the beliefs of the mind because after all, it is the mind that creates and perpetuates suffering. When you are in the moment there is always joy and love to experience if one is open to the possibilities. This is a day of regeneration so I would take advantage of it while it is happening. Old habits need to be let go of. A reversal of negative thoughts can bring about very favorable and positive effects. Remember to be suspicious of those who offer high praise and false flattery because there is a tendency that they are out for their own ends and for personal gain rather than being authentic with you. Remember, when the intellect is sacrificed to the feelings, the mind will be illuminated with the answers it seeks. Today, there is something that needs to be learned. When you are willing to get the education you need then you can end your own suffering and bring about the success you seek. Mars perfects its trine with Jupiter early into the day, stimulating your confidence and enthusiasm, as well as your desire for freedom. Tomorrow, Mars will align with Uranus and square Pluto, and you will have little tolerance for restrictions, but for today it will feel a little less challenging. The Moon is in Scorpio all day, and you want to have more meaning in your life. While you are enjoying feeling a bit of a competition spirit today, you can also be quite supportive and cooperative with others. You are looking to expand your world and connect with others.

Quote
Silence has a music of its own. It is not dead, it is very much alive, it is tremendously alive. In fact, nothing is more alive than silence.

Coming home to the beautiful redwoods of northern California again reminds me of the truth of this quote. Having been sick with the flu for the last two weeks I was amazed at once I got back to my land, my home, my pets, how much I love the quiet, the silence, the wind, the birds, and the tempo of the land. That night I slept so wonderfully and finally felt refreshed and rested. I think this is why for so many years I loved to sleep in the basements of apartments and homes that I rented and owned. Being in the ground was also so much quieter. Today, see if you can get away and go up the canyons a bit just to feel the nature and the silence. Go to the top of a hill and look down on the beauty of where you live. Get above the fray, the chaos, and the noise. Appreciate silence and allow the peace and aliveness to refill your cup.
