Numerology/Astrology for 5/10/21

5/10/21 is the number = 11 or a 2

Add the 5 + 1 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 11. Or 1 + 1 = 2.

The Number 11/2, shows us that we need to breathe in and breathe out. We are all constantly in a state of expansion and contraction. That is the pulse of life. It is the beating of your heart. All life exists because of that pulsing between the two extremes. It sets the tone of this life. It sets the stage for the drama of duality. All this exists, and we live to experience this fantastic game of life in this particular dimension.

While the expansion and contractions seem restrictive, we can stretch a little bit more each day. Slowly we climb, step by step, out of this existence and into the potential that we know is within each of us. Today, remember that you can always do something to stretch. And why not start today? We are more wondrous than we can imagine. Why not be willing to discover what that might be?

Astrology Today

The Moon comforts us as it is in Taurus. Simple things are desired and wanted, such as; a good meal, a warm bed, a cozy garden, a great book, and those we love and care about close by. Sometimes we cannot have all of that in one moment, but we can recognize the value of just a few more calm and regenerative experiences.

Because we are near the New Moon, it supports a natural pause to reflect on where we have been and where we intend to go. What is clear is that each of us is being asked to grow mentally out of our narrow and limited bubble and see a bigger world that is inclusive rather than exclusionary.

It is time for us to recognize that we need to act in a more mature fashion. Our words and actions show others the level of awareness that we are existing on.

What we reach for is where we intend to go, and that is important to help usher new ideas into a world hungry for change and real tangible growth.

Mercury and Chiron (the healer/teacher) present a doorway for us to step into more healthy dialogues with others. We are finally ready to actively engage problems rather than spend so much energy in denial, avoidance, and blame. That shift might be subtle, but it is vast and profound. I am grateful for this energetic shift.

That does not mean things will be smooth. Insecurities always arise in such moments. We need the discomfort to find the motivation from a world filled with resentments to move off its old position finally. Each day gives us another opportunity to shift, and each day we are shifting slightly. And that is very good news.

Tomorrow is a day when all can become clear.

If we are willing and ready to hear.

That which will come and change what we know.

Only then can mankind begin to grow.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day and had a chance to be with those you love.

On the television on CBS Sunday Morning, I heard a statistic that said that 46% of people call their mom every day and 33% call at least once a week.

That made me so happy because I call my mother every day. At 85, I think it is important that someone talk to her just to check and see that she is okay, especially with this last year and the pandemic.

The CBS Sunday Morning also said that the elderly handled the pandemic better than the rest of us as they are more able to navigate solitude because of what they have experienced in their lives and learning how to accept what is more easily.

I have always felt it was important for me to learn to be in stillness and silence. Not anything that I was very good at.

When I lived in Berlin, the Berlin Wall was still up, and the Cold War was in full force. While being with the dancers was lovely, being at home alone at night was something new and different. I found adjusting to the lifestyle and flow of Germany challenging. I had no car to escape. The weather was bitterly cold in the winter and soggy in the summer.

One year I decided to count how many sunny days Berlin had, and the answer was 7. Seven days when the Sun came fully out, and that is when you discovered how many people lived in Berlin. The parks were full of sunbathers, and you realized it was a big city.

Later on, I did Vipassana meditation retreats to sit in silence for days or weeks on end and meditate and focus on yourself. A very uncomfortable thing to do at that time. That is when I learned that being at peace with yourself is probably one of the most important things ever.

I think this pandemic is teaching all of us to be more self-aware and independent. It teaches us how to be more still and notice how our actions impact others positively or negatively.

Take the time to care.

Take the time to look deeply at those souls that walk this path with us.

Recognize the warriors that were brave enough to take the risk.

They are all your brothers and sisters in the karmic dance.
