Numerology/Astrology for 5/6/20

5/6/20 is the number 15. If you add the 5 + 6 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 15.  1 + 5 = 6

This is a day of introspection, music, stillness, contemplation, and meditation. It is a day to reflect on your actions and to notice that you create your own reality. It is a time when you are asked to look past your ego and attachments and recognize that (as they say in Buddhism), “All attachments cause suffering”. In life you have to learn to move on and let go. Your evolution is ahead of you not behind you. It is a process in brain evolution to step beyond the familiar and move towards the unknown. All paths lead you to walk that path alone. No one other person can take you there but you. Your path is unique to you and it is designed to unlock the dysfunction in your reality, soul, and mind. Others cannot walk it with you because that unwinding is not in alignment with their core and karmic evolution. Embrace your path. Step on it. The first doorway to consciousness is self-love. But the second door is aloneness. No one can do it for you. You must be willing to walk your own path and discover the secrets to your own soul.

That is why this number is called the “Hermit” number. It is where you must learn to sit with yourself. See the truth of what you have been in denial of. Forgive yourself and then move forward towards your future.

Astrology Today

The Moon in Virgo opposes Mercury in Pisces early in the morning. Know that you can misuse your spiritual gifts if you’re attached in any way. Take a look at where your attachments cause suffering for others. Notice that neediness feels icky and constrictive to others. Be open in your thinking. Recognize that others are not necessarily the direction that you are to become. Honesty with the self is the only essential piece in forward progression.

The Moon trines Pluto. Emotions are activated and are one-sided. Just because you feel something does not mean others feel the same way. Use your energy to discover new places within that you need to travel and know that self-discovery will allow you to understand yourself better.

The Moon trines Jupiter supports the desire to be more philanthropic and place your focus on how to help this world.

The Moon goes into Libra and brings with it a desire for harmony. Recognize that being open to new people is a great way to expand and place your focus forwards rather than backwards.

The Moon in Libra trines Saturn in Aquarius and recognize that what you experience is your responsibility. Do all things with great care and deliberation. There is a strong desire to get a good and responsible job.

The Moon in Libra trines Venus in Gemini. Discover how to be adaptable and courteous. Try to be as cheerful as possible and refuse to move towards those that want to argue and continue conflict.

Overall, there is a feeling of beginning to notice what is fueling dysfunction inside yourself. And noticing how that pattern is causing external reactions to others. If you do not like the reactions of others, it is you that has to change.

Quote

There is a sickness in the earth and it is fear of loss.

People fear losing what their mind wants.

It is a youthful level of mental development

that is designed to be matured through.

But many get caught up on this level of attachment.

They do not recognize that in life you never really

get what you want and that level of the desire realm

will constantly limit your development and progression.

There are three stages of brain evolution.

  1. Childish Narcissism – You want what you want. You demand it like a spoiled child or a child in a temper tantrum. And even if you manage to get it you will discover that it is not fulfilling because just getting what you want, eventually becomes boring, empty, shallow, and without substance. Your soul must recognize that there is something more than just getting your needs met.

  2. Negotiation – The next level you attempt to compromise. You want to talk it out. The conversation goes something like this, “If I do this for you, then you do that for me. We share the responsibility and the work and we learn the art of compromise. This is an important developmental level for the brain. It teaches negotiation skills, listening, working together for a common good, and your own needs do not have priority over the needs of the whole. But this also ends up making everything having to be talked through and that feels as if it has no passion and no juice. It often feels safe but flat, repetitive, and somewhat boring.

  3. What opens love? – This last level is not about getting what you want. It is not about needing someone to love you . It is not about compromise, nor working together. It is about listening to what the other person needs to open. So often we tell others what we want and they continuously refuse to hear us. They are still caught on the childish levels of the 1st stage and because they have never gotten their needs met. Because of that they can be desperate to get just that regardless of who they hurt, who they run over to get it, who they frighten, or what the other person needs.

The 3rd stage is about feeling past yourself (the “I”), past the desire to work together, and into the level of what another needs to open fully. Most people never understand this 3rd level at all. That is because they cannot let go of what they want as an outcome.

I have learned in life that some people are afraid to walk the path alone. So they will not allow another to do just that.

Great teachers often cannot or do not want some people with them at certain times in their life. That is why they disappear for years at a time. Myths and stories talk about great masters disappearing for days, weeks, and years. And when they return they are more conscious and awake.

Those teachers knew that that they must discover something for themselves. In those moments they cannot carry another person. They do not want to be responsible for another. They must walk their own path alone.

Many times in my life I have had to let others completely go. I have had to honor them and love them by allowing them to walk their own path. And in truth, the paths that those friends have had to walk for their karmic journey were clearly (in retrospect) completely not what my life or my purpose was about.

Some paths are not yours to walk. Some paths were never designed for you in this lifetime. That is why the last stage is so significant. You love them enough to let them go. You love and trust them enough to find their way without you. You trust your own path more than you trust the path of another because you know in your core that you cannot be someone you are not meant to become. You know that you cannot be a copy of another person but you must be your authentic self. And you recognize that your life, your choices, your wounds, and your actions in this life are yours and yours alone to evolve through.

Each person’s experience shows a particular pathway towards enlightenment. None of them are the same. All are unique. And no one has all the answers for another.

Blog

I remember a time when I was learning from Don Americo Yabar the Quechua shamanic practices and we were in southern Utah on a week-long retreat in the beautiful mountains. During the lecture, there was a moment when such a glorious feeling overtook me. It was raining outside and I knew that Don Americo was speaking but I felt compelled to walk outside and stand in the rain like a child.

It was a fabulous feeling to let the rain hit my face. As it was summer, the rain was cool but not cold and the sun was still managing to shine in the midst of this small rainstorm. When I felt compelled to go over to a small hill that was overlooking the tent where we were all sitting. The sides of this tent were open so air could go through and it looked more like a pavilion. As I got up to the hill and looked back at the tent were Don Americo was teaching, there was a perfect end of the rainbow touching exactly where Don Americo was standing as he was speaking.

I got all excited and called out for everyone to come to the hilltop with me and insisted they all stand up and get out of the tent and come to my vantage point. Sure enough everyone got to see that the rainbow was touching the tent right where Don Americo was standing.

He just smiled at me and said, “You can interrupt me anytime.”

Nature is filled with those magical moments. The trick is to feel them as they unfold so you can be in the right place at the right time to see them.

Magic is constantly happening in nature. When you reconnect to the elemental realms you realize that magic is not dead. But that humanity had numbed out to a type of energy that is found in the subtle realms in the natural world.

It was us that fell asleep. It was us that let our hearts die in little bits, time after time.

Today what can you do to open to that magical realm of the elementals? How can you rediscover that wonder and delight that surrounds you? Take some time. Listen with your heart. Follow the voices of the wind and the land. Be in stillness and learn to wait for that moment to show you something wonderful. Let the land reconnect you to what is important.
