6/23/18 is the number 4. The number 4 is the number of patriotism, dignity, trust, devotion, and the willingness to build strong walls of defense against those that would tear down what is near and dear to your heart. It takes a calm determination and passion to drive progress forward while there are those that want to shoot out the tires of change and humanity. This is a time for renewal of the values that you hold near and dear to your heart. You have to find the Emperor tarot card inside your soul and use his stability to undertake the difficult task that is now at hand. To accomplish what you want you will have to have diligence and conviction. You will have to find that unwavering knowing that you stand for what is good and true in the world. I know that the astrology is beginning to go retrograde and all the energy wishes to go inward but for today, do your best to externalize what you know is true internally. When you know who you are and where you stand, that conviction and clarity will help you progress forward again and again, even in the face of great opposition.

Astrology Today

 

Saturday morning is a bit uncomfortable, but it improves at the day moves along.

Mercury opposes Pluto this morning, and you could either feel a compulsive need to talk and question or to withdraw from the world. You may insist on knowing the truth and to expose falsehoods. You are feeling the pressure to come to a decision. This is such extreme energy that you may have some paranoid thoughts or extreme suspicion at this time. You are going to be dealing with issues of power and competition, and there can be a feeling that external circumstances are intentionally trying to undermine your moral values and personal power. Perhaps this is the only way that you can get in touch with your hidden motivations. These outside forces are there to remind you that you need to take better charge of your life. Unfortunately, shortcuts to gaining control will not work out for you at this time. This influence tends to bring something that was buried, to a head.

The Sun’s square to Chiron today can (in a disruptive way) pull up insecurities and areas of vulnerability. You could too easily follow the lead of others due to self-doubt, to fit in, to make another happy, or out of fear of asserting your true ideas. Alternatively, you might go to great lengths to prove yourself right or assert your individuality. A better approach might be to recognize how vulnerably you feel and use that to reach out to others.

The Moon spends the day in the sign of Scorpio. You have the ability to read between the lines, for better or for worse. The Scorpio Moon is a perceptive and probing influence. It wants to go deeper and get to the bottom of what is happening.

Mars is trying to make you look at what is your identity. You have to find new places to go. You have to look at what you really want really badly in your life.  With this Moon, you are looking at the thoughts that are fixated on your feelings and emotions trying to make you happy. Your perception is asking you to go deeper inside and look past what you want into what is real. Real is not always pleasant. Real is often a hard reflection to deal with. The whole spectrum of life is going crazy. Nothing is normal right now. But this sets the stage for the whole summer astrologically. So each of you is going to have to be very strong and determined in your life to deal with the patterns that impact you personally. Inside you want to be happy. But you are not happy. You are now going to question everything because what is happening is no longer tolerable. You may feel caught in a pattern that is suffocating you. You have to break out. You have to find the ability to feel better. And that is paramount. It is time to move forward in your life. But Mars is going to go retrograde next week. So NOW. Right Now! You have to make a choice and look at all the feelings, one at a time, and recognize where your reality is out of touch with who you really are. This moment is a big deal and you know deep down that you have to change. And you will have to change your external actions so that you can shift this energy. There is a harsh mirror staring back at you that you have refused to address. In some major way you will have to start over. Your heart is broken, your faith has been shattered. And the work ahead is going to be extremely difficult. The world has lost so much ground and you know it. But there are no short cuts. You have to listen to the heart inside your chest that is shattered. To be whole you will have to pick up all the pieces. You heart will never be the same, but it will slowly mend.
