6/27/16 is the number 6. This number reminds you that in the face of conflict and controversy, stillness is essential to maintain clarity and appropriate decorum. It is important right now for each person to learn how to feel what they are feeling but to not project it onto others in a way of demand that others conform to your beliefs. You have the right to believe what you believe but as American’s you are also charged to allow freedom of expression for others who believe differently. That is what makes us unique and it is what makes us a beacon for all of humanity to reach for freedom and permission to live their life the way they want to. With Chiron stationary and turning retrograde this morning, we might be flooded with energies that are hard to make sense of, and thus important decision-making is best avoided for the time being, as our thinking can be skewed. Mars is also moving towards a station – a direct station on the 29th – further reinforcing a need to take it slowly with decision making. It’s better not to jump to conclusions. However, while the station can bring some feeling of overwhelm, Chiron’s retrograde cycle itself, which lasts until November 27th, is a good time for introspection. We might reassess mental and physical health programs in our lives during this period. A trine between Venus and Neptune occurs this morning, we are more attuned to the world of beauty, the arts, and the imagination. Compassion, harmony, kindness, and openness characterize this transit. Gentleness with others is the best way to harness this energy. The pleasures of life are experienced fully. We see the very best in people now, and this eases our interactions and takes the pressure off in personal relationships. Romance is highly favored. Even so, we may not be expressing ourselves quite as sensitively as we are feeling with a square between Mercury and Chiron. It can be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate now. The Moon enters Aries at 3:09 AM EDT, and we can feel a strong urge to start fresh and look forward.

In intimacy a sweet heart is a juicy, yummy quality to want to dive into. But that nasty mind is what makes sexuality fun and exciting. You need to be willing to dabble in the darker energies even if that is just with a look or a put on attitude every once in a while. Variety is the spice of life and seeing someone you love try to lean into an edge (regardless of whether it works or not) is very endearing. It is that vulnerability to show places where you are not comfortable that makes hearts break open. It is not about where you are strong all the time that you need to constantly express. It is with your mate that they get the joy and permission to see you in all your quirks and twists, insecurities and playfulness. Don’t shortchange your intimacy. Let yourself play, let others in, and discover that it is okay to be your full radiant self with a few chosen few.
