7/8/17 is the number 7. There is a strong desire today to really want to understand the greater map of the universe and figure out why so many terrible things are happening in the world. Sometimes you cannot fully grasp the cosmic meaning of the universe until later. You can forget that this place is not a playground but a domain for working through karma and dysfunctional patterns and beliefs in order to get to a more enlightened state of consciousness and being. This world is not designed to give you what your ego wants but what you need to grow out of childish beliefs and behaviors that do not serve who you truly are.
The Moon is in Capricorn all day, and the need for structure and planning, particularly with Mars and Saturn moving towards a quincunx (exact tomorrow) is very strong. This is the full moon where you blend practical responsibilities with the need for emotional support and nurturing. But this full moon will have a sharp edge to it because it is aligned with death & rebirth Pluto. This helps you release that which you no longer need, but the process can be emotionally traumatic. The beauty of “let go and let God” Pluto is that you already know what or who needs to be released; and, the challenge is that now is the time to do what you already know you need to do (but probably have been putting off!). The Cardinal (means action oriented) signs of Cancer, Capricorn, Libra and Aries are particularly strong right now. This helps you kick it into high gear, but do use caution in the tendency to overdo the action. Be careful of impulsiveness, be it in your actions or your spending. You are also instinctively conscious of the limitations of time, and you might worry about meeting deadlines or filling your responsibilities. A desire for success is the motivation and achievement and manifestation are more important than normal. You have an instinctive need for order and direction, which may not always come straightforwardly today since the Moon’s only major aspects are a square to Jupiter and sextile to Neptune, but you may very well get there anyway! The approaching Mars-Saturn quincunx points to the need to slow down — the harder you push, the more resistance you encounter. Adjustments and edits are appropriate now.

Was the old life really so bad that there are those out there bent on destroying everything familiar in order to prove themselves right?

Seems so.
If you are one of those people determined to tear down rather than build up, you might ask yourself the question; “What is the root of all that anger and hatred? How old is that anger? And are you projecting an old hurt from long ago onto people who really are not responsible for that hurt?
The word, “Blame” means to find fault with, to censure, to place responsibility for, and it is considered an informal yet mild curse. So, when you blame others for your past, you project a negative energy in their direction. And what I know about energy is that when you project energy and fault on someone or something that is not to blame there is again a karmic reciprocity for that and a consequence. I keep saying similar things because there is so much of this happening and those doing the blaming are not aware of how much they are piling “shit” upon themselves karmically that will take lifetimes to dig out of. But I have learned that all I can do is warn. There are so many that are simply going to do what their soul needs to do in order to evolve. And some lessons are only learned through great suffering with trial and error.
