Numerology/Astrology for 8/22/21

8/22/21 is the number = 17

Add the 8 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 17. Or 1 + 7 = 8.
The Number 8 brings the feelings of sadness home. The world’s news is really bad on all levels. Storms, fires, violence in the Middle East, and chaos and desperation over the pandemic. It seems to never end. There are moments when we feel helpless in the face of such tremendous obstacles. And what can one person do in the face of so many challenges?

Stand up. Speak up! Be clear that this is unacceptable and that those that have the power are obligated by law to do something rather than continue to sew chaos, discord, and misinformation.

But we also know that we are very far from agreement, change, and actions that prove worthy for the seriousness of these events.

And that is what brings so much sorrow.
We know that our hearts are going to have to continue to suffer through the truths of this time and the terrible events still to come.
While so much will shift quickly in the next few months, I am afraid much of it will not be to our liking.

I have been shocked at the level of misery some will tolerate. And it is still not enough for them to shift. I know that in my heart those places of resistance carry tremendous karma through time and I am just glad I am not one of them.

Astrology Today

The Moon is moving into Full and gets there early in the morning. When things are at the end degrees preparing to shift from one sign into the next, that Moon checks to see if we really learned the lessons necessary to progress. If we have not then those lessons hit and hit hard. That seems clear in this pressure cooker of a world that is on the verge of exploding and collapsing. While there are many things that can be done, most are not being done or being fully embraced for the greater good of all. This is the second Full Moon in Aquarius this year, reminding us that the progressive energy of Aquarius is attempting to break us out of the Dark Ages we have been living through for decades. A very bright light is being shone in on our mistakes and choices from the past that are clearly no longer working for where this world is presently headed.
More and more, I hear from those that know they want to find true love. But that is so hard in a world where we are each feeling so isolated and alone. More than ever, those in our lives that we can truly share with are becoming critically important for our sanity and emotional and mental health.

The Leo Sun promotes that feeling of individuality and the need to do something of value.

The Aquarius Moon sees the challenges of the greater community of mankind and wants all of us to pull together and work at a team for change.

This opposition is throwing water on an oil fire and things are ratcheting up.

Feelings below the surface are exploding into the light of day. This is to awaken those bigger humanitarian qualities within so we can help others.

The Moon will leave Aquarius shortly after the Full Moon and go into the emotionally complicated, yet compassionate sign of Pisces.

This Moon will make us really look at all of our unfinished business. We will no longer have time to joust with others in complicated discourse that goes nowhere. Nor will we even care.

It will be up to us to enjoy those things in our private life that are life affirming and life giving. Detailed work helps us feel accomplished and will allow us to get noticed by those higher up.

Quote

Two plus two does not make five.

Yet some may live, while others will die.

Since when is it okay.
To allow such a modern display.

Of disfunction and disorder to gain a foothold.

That wants to take us down into chaos ninefold.
In past times we have lived and died because of plague.

I thought by now we understood the bizarre and vague.

But clearly there are lessons still to be learned.

And now intelligence must be earned.

Ah, the air has shifted, and the fog has rolled in.

It is finally as if I can breathe, cool, clear air again.

This morning instead of smokey skies.

I look out and feel the dampness on my skin and eyes.
The relief is profound. The appreciation assured.
I lift my cup of tea to all those that have endured.

In the hospital, my sister tries to keep children alive.

While they lie on the floor and struggle to survive.
I cannot imagine what she goes through.

Day after day with no break in view.
What we are doing to those in medical care.

Is a form of abuse that they alone are supposed to bear?

I worry for the day when they have finally had enough.
And walk out because for too long it has been too tough.

What will we do then?
When there are not enough medical women and men?
It is not fair to those doing the work.
When some scream in their face with hate and a smirk.

Evil lives in such souls and they are being eaten away.
By the hatred that wants to take man to a doomsday.

Hope still lives and can still thrive
In those whose hearts care more than their pride.
I will wait by an ancient door.

Just look for the one that says “Nevermore”.
