Numerology/Astrology for 8/31/16

8/31/16 is the number 3. It is great training to stay positive with the number 3 before we hit the eclipse in Virgo tomorrow. We have been feeling the energy of the Mercury Retrograde hitting but you also feel the eclipses before and after they hit. This one is in a lot of Virgo. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and the North Node are all in Virgo really making us take a look at things. Just be aware that it may take a month before we completely understand where the Universe is pointing us. We have to do a change and as much as we want to get clear about it all the Neptune in opposition to all that Virgo would beg to differ. There is a lot of uncertainty and confusion so you will have to go slow and rework and reorganize your beliefs about yourself, your work, and how you stand in the world. Something will be coming to an end by September 10th so release any fears and let the positive light shine out from your heart and guide your way slowly though the turbulence of all this astrology. The Moon continues its transit of Leo until 11:23 AM EDT when it enters Virgo. While we crave a sense of order and organization under the influence of a Virgo Moon, a Sun-Uranus sesquiquadrate aspect can point to some interruptions to plans or changes in schedules. We may feel the need for action, but if we don’t know where we’re headed, we might take the wrong turn. Right now it is better to stop, look, and listen. Then recognize that the shifts that need to happen are going to take a lot more time than you think. Don’t get discouraged. Make a plan. Recognize that that plan is going to change again and again. It is not personal. The universe is helping you create a totally new reality and that means that many of the skills and lessons from your past may no longer apply or be valuable in this new creation you are embarking on. Minor disruptions can test our patience but they might also stimulate us to try new approaches and they certainly act to cut boredom. This transit could offer us the drive to do something new, but avoid making hasty major decisions for the time being, particularly as the Moon is Balsamic and a Solar Eclipse will occur tomorrow morning.

I have often regretted my speech, never my silence.
~Poetry Language – Xenocrates~

As the energy of this eclipse and the Mercury Retrograde have been building up, this phrase has been one of my guiding principals. It is hard to practice the art of stillness and silence in the face of other people’s insanity. But when someone is off center, it is unwise and unhelpful to try to reason logically with someone who is set in their mind to a particular position and feeling. Talking often inflames the issue more and is like putting wood on a raging fire. This is never the best way to help the other person return to sanity. Often you have to wait, patiently, until a more clear moment. It is unwise for me to add in any conversation if I have even an ounce of a trigger inside my body. It is better for me to sit with the discomfort and feel into it completely so I can own what is mine and let go of what is not. Only when I fully understand and can come to a conclusion is it wise to connect and see if there is an opening for that conversation. Each person processes upset in different amounts of time. I have learned that certain people close to me have a timetable that I have from experience grown to know and understand. Others that are less close to me I have to feel into delicately because just because I am ready and clear to have the conversation does not mean that they are in the same place and state of time. Pushing to have a conversation when one person is not ready only inflames the problem again, potentially causing more damage that will have to be dealt with at a later time.
