8/5/18 is the number 6. The number 6 is the Lovers card in Tarot and it is about learning to love that which you are not. Learning to love the opposite within you gives you variety and expands your ability to love. Love is not convenient. Love it not something that is always smooth. Love is not reasonable at times. As Khalil Gibran said, “Love is a threshing floor.” Love tests you in areas that show you where you are lacking in understanding and empathy. Love does not need to make sense to another. It only needs to make sense to those that are included in that connection. Energy cannot always be explained. Combinations of certain energies create unique harmonies that expand out from the source influencing others in ways that are mysterious and often unseen. Right now you are benefiting from configurations of energies that are unknown to your mind. Yet if you are aware of the subtle, you might feel with your heart. Life is too vast and complex to be understood by your limited human mind. That is why love is a great mystery that becomes the glue holding realities together.

Know that today all ideas are not actually as great as they might seem. What you feel is right might not feel that way to others. Know that just because someone said something, does not mean it is correct or accurate. So be careful what you share. Caution is the best choice right now.

Today is one of those days where you need to put your confidence on with all the other clothes and makeup that you are putting together. When you know that you are awesome and fully love and accept yourself others will feel that and feel more comfortable in your presence. It is not about trusting others it is about knowing who you are on the inside and letting it come out on the outside. Mutual assurance breeds conviction and gives the stability for everyone to share their heart.

This is a day to decide what you want and to go for it knowing full well that this is your journey and not the journey of others. It is your path. Do not expect others to step on it as a form of validation for you.

You might feel that there is a lot to say and words abound over the next few days. There is a feeling that you want to put your finger on what you are feeling but getting that exactly right might be hard. Start by always choosing to be authentic and say what you mean without judgment or attachment to convincing others that yours is the only perspective. You are in a refining fire and so expect that with each exchange you will have more clarity and understanding.

Overall, know that communications seem to mean more to you today and you have to be careful that you do not become scattered or overwhelmed with so much new and varied input.

Expect there to be some proper decorum type of restraint moving through this day. It is okay to feel a bit still or awkward in your attempts to show affection because you are not sure you want to show everything that you are feeling. Go slow. Be patient with yourself. Do not allow past sadness and frustration to impede progress in challenging situations.

Understanding others is a bit fickle and not especially objective today. So be sure to think before you speak. If you are annoyed, choose to not speak, think through the trigger and then respond from a calmer and more neutral center.

In general, expect to not be fully appreciated for your efforts and attempts to care for others. Either old boundaries will be reinstated, or new ones implemented. It might feel a bit confusing. Do your best to not put expectations on others. Know that your own needs cannot ever be satisfied by another’s actions
