Numerology/Astrology for 9/28/19
9/28/19 is the number 4. On this New Moon the global request for Balance goes out once again. Balance seems to always be on a teeter-totter. Finding the center and staying on that midpoint takes focus and discipline. But it is easier to navigate that running from one end of the teeter-totter to the other. There are people out there that feed off your energy when they can put you in chaos. It makes them feel powerful and in control. Never give up your own wisdom for false promises. You will always end up more out of balance. That is because your personal balance is not necessarily another person’s balance point. One thing never works for everyone.

Astrology Today
The New Moon occurs in harmonizing Libra on September 28th. This brings a fresh approach to old patterns and more creative energy into your life. It is all about balance. Express your truth but do it in a way that does not intentionally offend others. It does make an uncomfortable relationship to eccentric and disruptive Uranus. One part of you wants to share in relationships, and another part of you is more comfortable being independent. One part of you wants to fit in with the world, and another part wants to do something rebellious, or at least outside the box. It would be helpful to focus your intention on your goals and ideals in order to help bring them into the mundane world.
Assertive Mars is having a conversation with the goddess Vesta now. Consider taking a short retreat from the world or providing some higher service to a world struggling.
Venus is the ruler of Libra and this New Moon, and it forms a sextile too Jupiter. This helps in all cooperative endeavors. Optimistic spiritual energy is brought to relationships. You will focus again to your higher purpose and the things that have value to you personally. Social situations feel freer and you begin to have ease settle in. Something that has not happened for a long time.
We are moving towards a Sun-Uranus quincunx. It may make you feel a bit out of control or uncertain as to the direction to follow. Plans keep changing and that may throw you off your center.
Today, you might feel a bit more sentimental than normal. Don’t worry it is just the New Moon giving you an insight into your depth.

Excerpt from “The New Colossus”
Poem by Emma Lazarus
Placed at the feet of the Statue of Liberty
……
“Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world -wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
When I look at the face of the Statue of Liberty I see the face of a woman determined. A woman standing up for those that have been forgotten by the wealthy and powerful in the world. A strong woman who believes in truth and justice. A woman who shows the way towards freedom with the torch she carries as high as she is able. A beacon of hope and potential to those that have been rejected and abused.
That is what I believe this country is about and the goal we always have to attempt to reach towards.
When this statue was put into place, America was not really a “land of the free and a home of the brave”. Women could not vote, there still was not equality between the races, and corruption continued to exist (just as it always has).
This statue became the reflection of a potential soul for this country reaching past its present reality and into a future world that was based on more equality and freedom.
That is often what art is for. It reminds us of what we want to become … not necessarily what we presently are.
And so even now, we continue to reach for that potential that our country’s forefathers intended for us. A future that still does not exist expect in our hopes and dreams.
I wish to help create a world before I leave, where more freedoms are finally given to those that have been promised for centuries. I wish for a world where we can finally see past the color of a person’s skin, their nationality, their religion, or the sexual preference and just learn to love each other in a more full and vital way.
And with my energy and intention, I give support to this amazing piece of art that is our constant reminder of who we can become.
