Poem – Let The Season Carry You Away

What the holidays mean to you is personal and unique.
And the older you get the more it becomes mystique.
Let the season carry you away.
Let it be a strong wave that takes away dismay.

Within the flickering of the candlelight.
Deep in our hearts blooms what is right.
People will disappoint, and people will fail.
But this holiday season lift up your sail.

Let the storms of this life give you wings.
Let the love inside be a song that sings.
When you let others see into you.
Many things will be experienced anew.

In the shocking faces of those you love.
They begin to see a light shining from above.
That is when you know what is true.
And you find the courage to continue to battle through.
