I tried to listen as I lay in bed.

I tried to change inside my head.

But life is funny and fickle you see.

It will make things uncomfortable until you let things be.

What arises is … what is next for you.

You can avoid, but then you will not get through.

Through that door that will lead to success.

Through that mess that has caused such duress.

I love the crooked path of my cobble-stoned road.

I love the uphill’s over the mountains … even carrying a load.

We carry much in life that we forget to put down.
That is until life finally shows us a countdown.

As age creeps up and we near that exit door.

We give much away that we needed to ignore.
Why did we carry so much more than we should?

Perhaps because we were afraid of not appearing to be good.

But life is a gift that always shares and let’s go.

Life is an offering not about what we might show.
