Do we understand the makings of a corrupt mind?

The root is always someone who was the victim to those unkind.

Evil festers in misery and pain.

That is the only way it can manage to gain.

A foothold within the soul of a few.

Problem is that denial make most not have a clue.

They do not see that their wound is the place.

That others can press a mind to disgrace.

The values that they pretend to defend.

As their delusions only can manage to pretend.

They believe they are spiritual when they lie and cheat.

They pretend to be good when they scream at others in the street.
That is why actions speak louder than the words that others use.

And great works are twisted, by a mind whose intention was to seduce.

Just because some can repeat parts of a book.

Does not mean that within they have the ability to look.

Past the attachments that their own mind creates.

And into the emotions that cause destructive debates.

With my friend from Utah here for the past few weeks, I have managed (with her help) to get some things in better order here in my house.

Nothing like having another woman in the space to support structures that organize and clear out the clutter that accumulates.

What has been interesting to see … is the view from her eyes … has shown me how much I manage to do in a day and how hard it is to maintain all the levels of things that I have running at once.

Part of the challenge is that the systems that are available in a big city are just not as easily accessed here … deep in the redwoods.
So, most things fall to me, or my husband to do them.

It is often like living as a pioneer, making a homestead. One learns to figure out things themselves and plan for future events because we have to rely on each other rather than the infrastructures of cities.
After all, the garbage has to be manually taken to the dump, things have to be planned as the town is far enough away that you want to have a list and do all the things in one go.

I realize how much time and effort it takes to cook three meals a day, with all the cleaning up and preparation.
I appreciate all the women that have come before me and how diligent they were to make sure everyone got fed.
And I compliment the effort it takes men to maintain structures to keep a roof over our heads and to keep us safe and warm.

Then with working on clients, calling people back, making appointments, doing the daily writing, creating the daily and monthly blogs and videos, laundry, cleaning houses, etc.
It is a lot.
I know that I am not alone in this feeling. I send out a cheer to all those who go above and beyond in their duties in life and manage to do it well.

When I lived in Utah, I had a cleaning lady that came every two weeks.
Not anymore.
Grocery shopping was 5 minutes away.

Not anymore.

Restaurants were vast, varied, and easily available.

Not anymore.

My friend here, watched me and said, “Wow! It takes so much effort for you to do all these steps … I am exhausted just watching you!”

When I lived in Utah, I had a crazy schedule doing 9 or more people a day for sessions. My work schedule is more balanced (most days).
And now I have filled it up with digging ditches, cooking, building fences, painting the outside of the house, creating gardens with drip watering systems, canning for the winter, cleaning, and doing things to keep systems working.
At least now, some things that I have needed to handle … have been helped along by my friend who is an expert at such things.

And for that … I am very grateful!

She sets off today to head back to Utah and her current home.

We are crossing our fingers that the dream house she wants will be hers in Eureka, as she put an offer down on it. Hopefully we will know something by Tuesday.

So, I ask everyone to send some extra magic, and put a bit more energy towards her getting that house if that is in the highest good for all.
