I hear the intensity of Euripides.

I hear the hiss of the Eumenides.
Life is filled with forces for good.

Karma pursues those … that it should.

No matter what we try to escape.

There is no going back once we enter a gate.

Choices make us who we are.

Not stepping through will make us end up at the bar.
Listen closely and you will hear.

Those unresolved issues are coming near.

We cannot avoid what we agreed to learn.

We cannot step back, nor can we turn.

I watch the dance as some pretend to not know.

That what they resist … is the only way to grow.

That is why I try to lean into the unknown.

And remember that I am not fully grown.

I am a work in progress, through the eons of time.

I am a crisis of love, yet I am still divine.

Without those souls who walk with me through.

This life would be boring and nothing new.

But with all of you, showing me … other ways.

I have learned to embrace all my dismay.

And know that feelings are fleeting and the way to refine.

All those thoughts that do not know how to be sublime.
In the subtle world of sound and light.

Are all the answers dancing with delight.

They swirl around us, before we remember that we do know.

And all that doubt that tried to pull us into the undertow.

Is just a game of resisting, what we are.
And once we remember that we are a part of a star.

That is where we will finally find peace and rest.

And that is when this life will finally become the best.
