Suzanne’s Personal Quote and Blog for 12/7/2022

Quote

We strive for perfection in all things.

But such a choice comes with a lot of strings.

I would prefer to be a person who can flow.

I would be a person with a glow.

A glow that is comfortable to be around.

A glow that laughs and makes a lot of sound.
A light that is so bright that in my presence others can see.

All the truth they hold inside is finally allowed to be carefree.

I would rather be kind than withdrawn and rough.

I would rather be simple than overly tough.

I think that those that are easy to be with.

Are a breath of fresh air and help us take a whiff.
Be the person that others feel safe to talk to.

Be the person who can help others breakthrough.
Be the shoulder that listens and cares.

Be the soul whose authentic shares.

Change the conversations from upset to clarity.

Change the mood from loneliness to solidarity.

We all crave connection and being fully seen.
We do not see our own dysfunction or realize when we are mean.

We have learned habits and patterns that do not serve.

We say things that make no sense or throw others a curve.

It is hard to connect to those that are different than ourselves.

It is difficult to share all the books that are on our shelves.

We are many books and many stories inside.

We are learning how to share with nothing to hide.

What we do not know is that when we relax and just let ourselves be.

That is when we finally align with the reality.

And that is the moment that without a word.

Others understand us without our egos absurd.

Egos distort how others see us and feel.

Egos tear down what we are trying to heal.

That is why learning to let the ego fall away.

Will open new doors and new pathways.

Towards connecting with those that can understand who we are.

And then we will find the friends that can walk with us very far.
