Quote

There is a hiss that heralds a rising tide.

Of those that have passed before and now reach from the other side.

They warn of a terrible turn that is to come.

And try to get us to awaken to be ready to run.

We have much to do and much will be asked.

Evil has control and a spell has been cast.

On the living to make this world a hell.

You can hear screams as “freedoms” are put in a cell.

How many have died for us to be here now?

Will we stand together or will we to evil bow?

I will never to evil, in this lifetime kneel.

I refuse to walk with the Devil and make a deal.

I cannot choose the karmic path for others.

But I can hear the call of all the grandmothers.

Who stand at my back and keep me holding strong.
They will not let me collapse or do what is wrong.

That is why I know that I was born for this moment in time.

I have a courage that arises quickly on a dime.

When those that I love are threatened or face an attack.

They are not alone because they have me at their back.
I am a lion that does not just roar.

I will always find a way to even the score.

I got the squashes into the pots.
And the bears came through the fence again in spots.

Today we move to stop the trend.

The fence will have an electrical charge end to end.

No more to the brashness of bears that want to have it all.
I am willing to share … but not to constantly overhaul.

The reconstruction of the fence in the morning light.
Now it is about sharing and making things right.

They can have all the forest around.

But my home and yard are my sacred ground.

They will learn and many things will change.

Once they realize that my yard is not part of their home range.

They have disrupted the mother cat and she moved her kittens away.

She did not feel safe with the bears creating a freeway.

I wish for her safety and the babies to be fine.

And peace to return while we learn to combine.

Our lives with theirs, nature with care.
Everyone wants safe space … even the bear.
