When law and order suppress the few.

In order to keep some from breaking though.
That is when one has to know that the laws do not serve.
They were intended to upset and unnerve.

If one creates laws that prevent freedom and choice.
It effectively will manage to silence their voice.

And that was their intention all along.

Just because it is a law does not still make it … very wrong.
People have forever found a way through.

To do what they can regardless of those that misconstrue.

Certain things in life have never been under anyone’s control.

Sex is just one thing that the religious right has failed to pigeonhole.
History records that when one group tries to suppress.
Any of the passions … they only fuel a dangerous nest.

One that causes pestilence and plagues.
One that has caused too much death and only aids.

In the destruction of entire civilizations throughout time.
One cannot make “choice” a crime.

Those that do will karmically have to pay.
For all their suffering that has caused pain and dismay.

And for lifetimes after that terrible day.

They will be the victims of their own toxic buffet.

I can see all the places that I held such fear inside.

I tried to be brave and desperately hide.

Those feelings that I knew would get in the way.

Those places that would be afraid to speak up in dismay.
We have all tried to put on a happy face.

When others intended to project shame and disgrace.
But now that I am older and hopefully more sane.

I can calmly look at the many human games.

That I fell for again and again.

We keep getting the lessons until we look within.

Past the places of fear and shame.

Lives a part that knows there is nothing to gain.

By living in a past that was already complete.
That only allows us our own future to cheat.

Within the cycles of times and space.

We hopefully learn to move with more grace.
Be kind to those parts that were searching for a way.

To find the courage to just face another day.
