Marriage is about learning to stay the course.

And for everyone to get off their high horse.

We come together to learn to merge.

Two powerful forces pulled to converge.

And that is why we stay and work things through.

There is a deeper commitment to which we often have no clue.

And yet, there are angels that guide the way.

They teach that through upset and dismay.

That we can discover those things that we hide.

And become more whole so that we begin to heal that divide.

The divide that this dualistic world strains against.

We remember a wholeness that is forever sensed.

But knowing and being … require practice and patience.

Considering the feelings of another supports complacence.

Satisfaction comes from going the distance.

Then we might heal this world with our assistance.

We are all a tapestry, tattered and old.

We got that way by being bold.

We did not shy away from getting into the mud.

We know that no one is a real pure blood.
We are all the creative mixture of the goddesses making.

Most are a cake that is still baking.

Live a life filled with color and risk.

Never be satisfied being a compact disk.

There is so much beyond what you think you want.

Following only your mind will leave you pathetic and gaunt.

Trust the Wildness that has to run.
Learn to laugh and have too much fun.

Because before you know it you will be at St. Peters Gate.

And then you will not have the power to change your fate.
