Quote
History will tell the tale
Of a truth that tried to be.
The ground underneath its feet
Tried to be open and carefree
There were those that could not see their pain.
And they attacked the good in droves.
With their intention to confuse
And their resentment cooking on the stoves.
Yet through it all
The peace remained
And a few at a time
Slowly became unchained.
Time tells the tale
Once those who judged … finally die.
That is the moment
When what was true is uncovered as a lie.
While I cried for those
Who would not admit their faults.
Eventually history awakens us sharply
With strong smelling salts.
Yet in the future
The peace will still remain
And a few will see
That through words they become unchained.
Words in the past
Can pull the truth into the light.
Patterns that make no sense.
Reveal what was hidden in fright.
There are always those
That are terrified to really see.
And dark forces
Use fear as their grand prix.
Yet in the future
More will always come.
And that is when truth
Will no longer crawl but will instead run.
Be a possibility that uncovers
Be the most tender of lovers.
Be a place where peace can be found.
Be safe enough to become another’s ground.
Yet in the dawning of tomorrows day.
The peace will still remain.
And a few more will see
That they can help others become unchained.

Few will remember the grace and grit.
Of that dancer with the amazing split.
While that self … lives in the flow of all life.
And she is forever dancing in the wind’s delight.
What will remain will be the words that tried to show.
How much more can be done when the soul is allowed to glow.
A hundred years from now, someone will find my words.
That open up their mind … like a thousand thunderbirds.
And that is why there is so much power in sharing what could be.
Inspiring greatness in others is a way to foresee.
That someday this world will take the correct turn.
And from the past … we will integrate and learn.
That what the powerful feed the masses.
Was so distorted that one needs eyeglasses.
While truth is simple it is also deep and sublime.
And while evil tries to mimic truths energy and line.
It is exposed by its lack of kindness and care.
Especially when it hides behind religion and prayer.
Knowing the correct words is not about following the path.
Words without compassion only lead to war and wrath.
