Suzanne’s Personal Quote and Blog for 8/17/2022

Quote

Have you heard of the stories of old?

Have you learned from the lies you have been told?

Have you grown from the chaos and fear?

Have you learned to hold those you love near?
Life has a way of creating a path.

From all those emotions rejected in the aftermath.

Of all those things that never made any sense.

And all those moments that were so intense.

But today, let go and allow something new.

Allow in the new thoughts that will give you a clue.

Something wonderful can come your way.

Make it now and allow it in today.

The smoke from the Willow Creek area fire continues to billow in.
We are learning to look carefully all around and to be vigilant for our friends and neighbors.
So much is happening that the feelings can get confused.
I know that there are many that are not as happy as they would like at this time. This world has been under siege for decades and those with the ability have been feeling it for a long time.
We are all in this together. We are all here to make the small differences that we are capable of making.

We are not alone, nor can we do it alone.

The world has vertigo and is afraid to fall.

And yet, we hear something incessantly call.
The abyss of change is luring us in.

Something is asking to be born again.
We are born here with the freedom to express.
And in that freedom we can make a big mess.
Insecurity is the root of all lies.
Not speaking up is how all freedom dies.

The job of all artists is not let the truth fall asleep.

Poets give us the courage to take a leap.
We are to remember that when we walk away.

We could miss an amazing buffet.

Life is delicious if one would allow the feast.
And love the parts within that are a beast.

What we see as beautiful becomes story, metaphor, and myth.

What we resist and judge becomes different, unique, and calls our attention to it.

When we combine them, that is how great things are born.
