It waits for a moment to show you how.

How to reclaim what you fear you have lost.

And how to do that with minimal cost.

I do not respect traditions because they are old.

I do not understand those that will not question what they are told.
I embrace the voices that sing of hope and change.

I am inspired by the songs that exceed their range.
We are here to do more than just exist.

We are here to learn to love and to master the kiss.

Not just the kiss of love and passion.
But the kiss of the wind and the kiss of compassion.

Those are not traditions made by greedy men.

Those are poetry that throughout time are expressed through quill and pen.
Such things last because they show what is honest and true.
Such a kiss expands our heart anew.

Listen with the mind and the depth cannot fully appear.

Listen with the heart and something so precious comes near.

I would rather have the depth that turns my soul to light.

Then thoughts that confuse and rankle to another’s delight.
