Quote
I watch many mourn the loss of their queen.
I watch Ireland wait and say almost nothing.
Two perceptions of what royalty means.
Each side has won and lost a lot of things.
Each side believes what they have been taught.
Each side has suffered and been distraught.
That is the problem in taking sides.
We each have been challenged by what another hides.
No civilization is without regret.
Every nation justifies when they threat.
That is why learning the history from the losers is so essential.
Because the truth is never inconsequential.

We went to the Titanic Museum and that was something to behold. It was a place that brought so many things together from the workers that built the great ships, to the dishes, staterooms, rivets, the sinking of the ship, the stories of survivors, and the finding of the wreck at the bottom of the ocean.
Quite spectacular on all levels.
We also went with the Black Cab Taxis to see the murals … made to commemorate the atrocities of this world’s far and recent past. It is called the Walls of Freedom and if one put them all together, they would be 23 miles long. I even signed the Wall of Peace. To remind each of us that peace is the most important thing and that we all must put our voices towards demanding such a thing on a global level.
May peace for Ireland come in the near future and may all parties be able to unify this country and allow the unique voices of the Irish to ring independent once and for all.
