The sheep in Ireland cannot help but strike a pose.

The landscape is a quilt of the music that it does compose.

The cliffs will continue to stand in stark contrast to my mind.

The winds of this land will forever help me to unwind.

The people and their faces shine out through my eyes.

The spirit of this land is etched in its connection between the water and the skies.
I hope that all souls can return to their homelands.

And listen to the ancestors as they walk on those ancient sands.

I am in the home stretch of my trip, and I have to say that I am finally tired and ready to head back to my lovely home.

While it has been a fabulous trip on every level … there is no place like home.

I have learned so much.
My eyes have feasted upon the nourishing homeland.
I have wonderful connections with those that are now friends.
I have shared and cared.

I have learned where all my storytelling comes from.

I have discovered the roots of where my strength resides.

I have new appreciation for all those that came before me.

This trip was filled with wonder, amazing scenery, family reconnections, tremendous learning and growth, and appreciation for all my relations.

We head back on Sunday, and I will be home by Monday afternoon.

Here’s to the Irish with all the green and gold.

Here’s to the ancestors that were courageous, brave, and bold.
Here’s to the strength of a people who refused to break.

Even when others demanded and continued to take.

May peace come to a country just wanting to have their own voice.

And may all that live here feel the freedom of choice.
