Suzanne’s Personal Quote and Blog for 9/9/2022

Quote

It continues to rain, yet the temperature is fine.

It allows one to look within and find our own shine.

This world shows us those places that are aligned and pure.

It also shows us where we are still trying to mature.

Too often in life the strangeness of things.
Helps us to see where we are caught by another’s strings.

We listen to the conversations that others speak with arrogance and bluster.
They hide their ignorance behind a life without luster.

The need to speak with self-importance and pride.

But between the lines of words is insecurity that they cannot hide.

We are off to Belfast. And going to the Newgrange and the Mourne Coast.

Newgrange is a prehistoric monument on a rise overlooking a river built during the Neolithic Period. Shockingly it is older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. I am excited to see it.

I continue to love the rain. I actually prefer it to the heat and bright sun.

It is built by a group called the Beaker People. It is a tomb, but it is also a type of clock for the winter solstice. It is considered a World Heritage site.
The Mourne Coast is along the highest mountain range in Ireland. And the views are supposed to be spectacular. We are off to have a hike in that area. I have tried to get us to have hikes each day to keep us moving.

Dublin was fabulous and the museums were all incredible and free to the public. The Irish have also made all schooling free through college. Something that we should be doing in our country. They understand that to compete in the modern world and to bring good opportunities to the people that they need to be educated to compete on the world stage. That is why so many companies have hubs here in Ireland now.

I hope America can learn that same lesson and keep up. But currently we are falling behind on so many levels globally. I hope we can turn it around quickly.
