Integrity means to stay true.

One takes a moment and sees it through.

Compromise requires a give and take.
The best ones are done when both are awake.

When we do things because we are afraid of what others think.

That is when our light begins to shrink.

Too often we are afraid of being outcast and alone.
Our mind is more than willing to throw the first stone.
But it is better to walk our own path to discover who we are.

And that path is long, and we will have to go very far.

Listening to our heart makes us seek to find what is clear.
Too often in compromise we are following the fear.

Ego tells us to feel safe and belong.
We need the fear to become very strong.

But being true to oneself and discovering along the way.

Will bring us to important doorways.

The head distracts us with demands.

The heart will show us how to understand.

Hostility is a marker that one is not standing true.
Resentment shows that the integrity did not breakthrough.

Be the best that you can ever be.

Let your heart wander in the land of integrity.

Find the path that is simple and kind.

And leave all the arguments of the mind behind.

I love my new morning meditation process.

Coco has given me a new doorway into the calming patterns of the morning. She is getting more and more into feeling as if she belongs. She is still seeking to find the places where cuddling is perfectly comfortable.
But she is in a learning curve to allow love in.
And such things take time.

She tries out a position and then needs to move again.
She tries to sit beside … but that never quite wins.
She wants to look adoringly into my eyes.

She wants to know that she has finally arrived.

She seeks to connect with the Goddess of the Food.

She needs to be with … but is afraid to intrude.
Each day she becomes calmer and more at peace.

Each morning she wants the length of petting to increase.

Within the cycles of life, we all want to find a true friend.

One that can move, flow, and bend.

With the upsets that we experience in a day.

And learn to share even moments of dismay.

But most important is that we can be within the calm.

And let each moment become a psalm.
