Poem – Here We Are at the End of the Year

 

As we approach the end of the year.

I wish only goodwill and lots of cheer.

Here’s to breaking out of so much struggle.
Now it is time to get warm and snuggle.

With those you love and that love you back.

The astrology will shift and get us back on track.

I look forward to 2023.
As we learn to get along and finally agree.

I know it will be slow and we have a long way to go.

We need to feel into the flow and allow some to go slow.

But the tides are turning and there is hope up ahead.

That is why right now, stay warm in your bed.

Love the animals that have stood by your side.

Reflect on the growth and all the tears you have cried.

Let it all go because in the end it was worth everything.
We have had to let go … to get back into the swing.

But now with the dawning of a bright and new year.

We face what comes with less trepidation and fear.

That is because we have found that deep in our heart.
We have found a new position in which to take part.

That position requires no group or goal.

It only requires that we express love out of our soul.
