The Solar Flare
Well, I found out (after the fact) that on the 25th, there was the largest solar flare released since 2002. The energy from that flare hit us yesterday the 26th.
I did not know this solar flare was happening but all the sudden I had the worst migraine I have had since I can remember. Within 10 minutes I went from fine to not being able to open my eyes, a scorching headache, and a loud roaring in my ears and deep in my head. Everything looked like it had a fractured halo around it.
I have migraine medication on hand to help but again, I have not had a migraine in quite a while. I know that eclipses can make this same effect on me. Perhaps it is because I am a Leo and when anything happens from the sun that is different, I feel it immensely. I can’t tell you how many eclipses I was not able to see because I was in a dark room, in bed, throwing up.
My poor husband tried to help but the problem is that really nothing helps but to lay down in the dark and let it pass. This morning, he told me about the solar flare that happened as he was online last night, and how it causes, a desynchronization of our circadian rhythms. Such solar flares are known to cause very real physical symptoms of nausea, heart palpitations, dizziness, migraines, mood swings, erratic behavior, and other forms of general unease. At least now I know why I had the migraine last night. This morning, I feel fine. But what a terrible ride last night. I am grateful that I know what was happening. Thank you internet.
