I am reminded this month of a journey to a waterfall in Hana, Hawaii. As the sun rises and if you get there at the right time, you can hold a rainbow in your outstretched hands. It is a magical moment that requires perfect timing and allowing us to feel into the greater patterns and flows of life.

This month, timing is everything. But it seems that getting that timing just right might be a bit of a challenge. Many obstacles seem to try to trip us up on that path. It will be up to us to not fall for the traps laid out by others that intend to collapse us, make us feel guilty, and pull us into old positions … when our hand is on a very new door ready to step through.

This month, we feel, see, and experience the complex web in which we find ourselves. Some feel ensnared and sickened by the disinformation that they have willingly swallowed. Others feel as if they are suffocating from the fact that others are taking up all the space and sucking the air out of our lungs with their chaotic voices and rhetoric. The only path to follow is the path of love. When we care and share our hearts with that are worthy, we remember that there is more to life than what our society deems important.

This month we crave to be something different. We do not want to follow the herd mentality. We want to move from a place of power and purpose. Our own purpose. We are not here to belong in fact, it becomes crystal clear that we don’t belong, and that awareness is oddly freeing. Trying to fit into a reality that does not care about the moral qualities that we find essential to our own sanity and way of being is insane. And that finally becomes crystal clear.

We do have moments this month of great celebration and fabulous ordinary encounters that allow us to drop in and drop away from the technological chaos that is being force fed the masses.

It is clear that we have to let go of feeling guilty for trying to do what we believe is right when deep in our heart, regardless of what others see, we can no longer deny what is true for us. Choosing what is true for yourself does not require anyone to come along on your ride. When we have confidence in that path and are willing to take the consequences for our choices and actions, we free ourselves and that is when some deep and profound healing can happen.

This month the choice is to feel into the ancient wisdom each soul holds and to recognize that the chains that hold us back are often projected onto us from our mind or the minds of others. Speak your truth but from a compassionate and kind heart. Open to your creative side and let what matters to you become the top priority.

I know everyone wants to pull you into their top priority but this month … that is not going to work. When we follow our own path, we find a better balance inside our soul. And we learn that only when we give permission to ourselves can we then know how to give permission to others.
