6 + 4 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 18
1 + 8 = 9

Today is a number 9 and I want to take a moment to commend all those that have worked so hard at those things that matter most to them. This is a day to celebrate the accomplishments that have unfolded because of your focus, effort, and passion.

Remember, every step towards those goals is a great gift. We recognize that learning to be in this physical world takes a lot of effort and as we learn to embrace all forms of effort and work in this world … we discover that the goal is not where the good stuff is. It is in the journey to get to the goal that is of most importance.

The journey shows us what we are made of. The journey shows us that we can overcome many obstacles with determination and intelligence.

We have so much to be thankful for. We have toiled in ways that show us our character and hopefully our sense of humor.

Challenges may try to break us but when such moments are embraced, we find out so much more than we could have possibly realized.

Today, we celebrate all those things that have made our life better, more colorful, more beautiful, and more interesting.

I know I would not be who I am today without the moments when the universe challenged me and required me to overcome my own self-doubt.
Completion (the number 9) comes from acceptance and trust in the flows of the universe.

The universe teaches that nothing is ever really complete. We just complete the current cycle and the lessons associated with that cycle.

But with each completion, I believe celebrations are in order. Those celebrations give us the courage to try again. After all, we are not celebrating the goal. We are celebrating ourselves and the courage it has taken to achieve that goal and be in this place right now.
