The Number 3 swings from wild and wooly to wacky and weird. Today might seem a bit crazed. While we seek to understand and try to have a sense of humor about it all, finding how to be grateful for the chaos that is currently ensuing is challenging. We try to make things smoother by surrendering into the moment. But that can also be difficult when things keep hitting from all angles.
When the waves of life keep crashing down, I remind myself to be like a baby seal learning how to roll with the waves and recognize that I am perfectly attuned to being in oceanic currents.
Or I remind myself to be like a turtle in Hawaii, easily moving with the waves, not fighting them but knowing that with a slight movement of one fin, I can stay easily in my current position.
When the energy is chaotic, it is always best to slow down … not speed up. It is easy to get caught up in the disturbing energy. But moving from chaos only creates more problems not less.
More mistakes happen when we allow life to throw us off our center. It is important (especially these days) to remember that and learn to deal with what comes up more objectively and with less reaction.
And through it all remember to be kind to yourself and to take things lightly. Meaning that you can be the hardest on yourself. Remember, everyone makes mistakes and has bad moments. But through it all, know that inside you are still a wonderful person.
