The number 4 is the number of balance. After all, we prefer 4 walls to hold up our homes. We have 4 elements in our world, water, earth, air, and fire. The number 4 reminds us that stability comes from balanced perspectives and the harmony that such things naturally desire to create. A great painting has a balance of the picture, the light, the paint, and the perspective. We consider beauty to have symmetry in life.
Today notice what is in balance and if anything is out of balance. Awareness is the key to most things. When we are aware then we have in our own hands the power to make the necessary changes.
The Number 4 is also a number for balanced negotiation and communication. Notice if you need to find a better way to listen first before speaking. Notice if the right thing to do today is to compromise rather than win. When everyone gives a little then no one is put in a difficult spot. If we all chose to focus on win/win, this world would have less conflict and there would be a better work/life balance.
