The number 5 represents the physical world in which we live. It is ruled by the feminine because after all … it is Mother Earth. As we live and breathe in her domain it is important to recognize that all things in this dimension are of her creation. Nature is feminine and reminds us that we can be all the emotions from the storms and wildness … to the sunny and happy moments. Being here gives each of us permission to be the full range of emotions that our body can experience. The challenge is that the mind often has other matters that it can overly consider.

The mind can stop pain, but it can also stop joy. And there are emotions that some of us fear to experience, and for good reason. This is why humanity has created stories, myths, movies, and podcasts. It is through the sharing of the stories of others that we can often learn much that we have not yet experienced.
And that is the key word for the number 5, “experience.” We are here to wander about, trip and fall (occasionally), marvel and risk, love and experience grief, create and then share that creation with others.
This physical realm is messy. Very messy in moments. Yet somehow, we are to muddle through so we can gain through our life’s choices and experiences, and eventually create wisdom.
Earth is the caldron upon which we all learn and grow. But it is also the caldron where we can make magic if we learn how to harness the energies that are wildly raging in this reality.
Earth puts us through the refining fires of its “Mordor” so we can recognize that we are not separate, but we are all parts of one organism.
The number 5 calls to all of us to let go of biases, prejudice, and blame, because without learning such an essential and critical lesson … we contribute energetically to the conflicts that still rage because of humanities in ability to be humane.
