4 + 1 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 13
1 + 3 = 4

With the Number 4 asks us to remember that balance is the key to all things. The more we are at peace inside the more we will embrace peace on the outside. The outer cannot be maintained without a strong inner core commitment to balance and peaceful resolutions.
Notice the words you use and how you use them. Notice if your words might be okay … but your body language is demanding or oppositional.
Remember that verbal language is only 30% of effective communication. Most people watch your eyes, the way you tilt your head, your hands, and they are feeling into a person with the skills they have currently learned.
The problem is that most of us know that we cannot trust our feelings, nor or mind in moments. We have to remember that being alive requires us to constantly learn. And to learn we must first be open. If you think you know everything, then you clearly cannot see what this world is all about. Its sheer complexity defies that one person could know it all. So why expect yourself to have all the answers or to know what beats in the heart of another?
It is spiritual arrogance to think that you have all the answers perfectly lined up.
That is why learning requires openness. And openness requires objectivity and neutrality. Only when we are open do we actually hear the words and intentions of another.
We live in a dysfunctional society filled with those that only have selected listening. Some minds have not learned discernment. They only look for the words from others that they want to hear. Once they hear those words, they form an opinion and a judgment. From that point on, they then believe that they have either found an ally that validates their preconceptions or a foe to fight against.
That is the problem currently plaguing our world. There are too many that hear what they want to hear and ignore everything else.
Today, start to listen.
Remember that we have to be open to learn.
To be open is the beginning of wisdom.
To be open is to be fully present.
