4 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 14
1 + 4 = 5

With the Number 5 we are reminded that we are made from this earth and when we are done with this life we will return to this earth.
While that is a humbling thought, we are all in the same boat and that puts us on equal footing. When the poor man or woman dies, they leave with nothing but the love that they have given to others. And the same is true for the wealthy. In the end none of us is better than another. We are all down here learning lessons, expanding love and compassion, and discovering who we really are.
For some … our time is shorter than others as we are down here on this beautiful green and blue orb. But for others .. we are blessed with a longer time and each moment should be savored.
Notice how when we were young that we rushed around in a frantic oblivion to the wonders all around. But aging is a gift that allows us to slow down and to find out what really matters to us. We learn to appreciate the land and give ourselves permission to sit calmly by a creek reading a book. We learn that taking time with others and really listening is more important that getting that next chore done. We learn that a calmer approach allows more grace into our lives.
The earth (the number 5) has a flow and a tempo. Mankind is always trying to speed it up and make it exciting. But look at what nature created through millions of years of allowing the rain and winds to sculpt rock and the canyons. Look at what majesty happened when mankind did not cut down a redwood tree and allowed it to become something to be inspired by. Patience and time are the lessons that earth merges beautifully and it tries to show us what is possible.
Today, see yourself as a work in progress. See that there are moments where parts of yourself need to be left alone until the inspiration comes to make one small addition on that painting that will eventually become your masterpiece.
It is okay to be unfinished. It is okay to not know the next step. Remember that everything will come in its proper time and when our soul is finally ready to accept that next step.
In the meantime, take off your shoes and let your feet walk in the soft green springtime grass. Reconnect to this “Great Mother” (Earth) and let her wisdom soften your words, direct your steps, and allow you to see the magic that she has created for all of us.
