Today, the number 5, gives us the incentive to get out there into the garden and do those things that allow our world to be more beautiful. Gardening is perfect for creating spaces that have color, symmetry, and organic flow.
My gardens change each year based on my mood. It allows the space to reflect the progression of my soul’s journey into this reality. I do so love the variety of colors and shapes in nature. The diversity is breathtaking and so I hope you also have moments today to go to the nursery and discover what makes your heart become more bright and light.
While the evenings are still cold here in northern California, my small greenhouse is filled to the brim with tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, flowers, and other goodies for when it decides to get just a bit warmer.
Today, notice the sounds of the birds singing spring into being. Notice the busy processes of nature as nesting and denning is happening for the next generation of small and large creatures to come into this world.
Remember, to be kind to all of God’s creatures and to do what you can to make their world less difficult. Small acts of kindness go a long way. We live in a world where it is imperative for us to learn to work together and to give back to the world in the ways that matter.
