2 + 6 = 8

The number 8 asks everyone to take a long, slow, cooling breath! Yes, there is a lot going on for everyone. Yes, the requirements of this life seem to keep coming at us. And yes, we have what it takes to keep moving through it all. It is just in some moments we are in a place where we just need to take a pause to be quiet and just breathe.

Remember that all of life is connected to air. Words that come from a toxic person, when taken in, can begin to poison you. When you live in an environment of hate then that hate can eventually turn your own nature to being more hateful. Who you associate with will influence and change you. That is why you have to be very aware of what types of people you allow into your presence.

Notice if a person is perfume or poison. Notice if you feel better or worse after being in their presence. The more we associate with those that are kind and caring … the more we become like that. The more we associate with those that hate and harm, then we will feel as if we are justified to do the same.

The world has enough pain. Why intentionally or unconsciously create more. We can either contribute the solution or continue to ignore what is vital and allow the problems to get worse.

I believe that we can learn to breathe in the positive and let go of the negative. But I am certain that I will never breathe in the toxic words of others that divide, separate, and cause more suffering in this world.

There is too much good in the world to contribute the negative cancer that wants to eat souls and shatter dreams.

Today, go out in nature, breathe in the goodness that is this life. Remember that in each breath, you have a choice.
