Poem – Halloween 2024
This month, I don’t really care about goblins and ghouls.
I care about the monsters in our government and schools.
The darkness that used to exist behind a veil.
Has been unleashed and is on it’s delusional holy grail.
Evil has always found it easy to hide.
In the churches and beliefs where dogma is applied.
In this season of costumes and candy filled baskets.
What scares me are those who throw paper towels at caskets.
So celebrate this time but remember to be very awake.
In the words of some, you will find razor blades in their cakes.
It would be wise to take no risk and throw them away.
As they would do to you after they put your suffering on display.
