Poem – Always Reach For Joy

In this game of love and loss.
Life can come at a terrible cost.
What is the lesson in these hapless ways?
What is there to learn in such dismay?

We learn that life is never guaranteed.
We learn that life is more powerful than any creed.
Within the confines of the minds of the confused.
One discovers those that have been abused.

But even when there is such a terrible cost.
Each soul has a choice to create joy or more loss.
No matter what may come, remember to reach for joy.
It will save the soul and show the path to the real mccoy.
