Poem – As The Lunar Eclipse Looms

The clock is ticking and the Lunar Eclipse looms.
Will we allow this change to make us swoon?
The planets call for balance and so much more.
They want humanity to even the score.

Without the balance our world is in pain.
Without the love what really is there to gain?
We seek out fulfillment through stress and strain.
But this eclipse wants to break those mental chains.

Mankind is a slave to wanting to always feel good.
And then they tear things down by not doing what they should.
A world at peace is a world that strives to feed and thrive.
It knows that it matters so much more than to just be alive.

Every living thing needs safety and care.
Every living thing wants enough to share.
Every living thing knows that love is the key.
It is time to remove the cheats with cards up their sleeves.
