Poem – Being a Woman

I believe all of life can feel the light.
Some are more attuned to this nature delight.

But being a woman is a glorious dance.
Where wind through our hair does not happen by chance.

To a woman, the air is dancing with your locks.
And suddenly you can soar into the sky with the hawks.

Being a woman is a constant orgasmic flow.
Everything is alive and something we want to get to know.

Some may live a life stuck inside in a box.
But with permission, there is a break in all those locks.

And our life expands in all directions and in many ways.
Deep inside we are built for all things that amaze.

I wish for one day that others could look out through my eyes.
And see the magic that cannot be disguised.

I wish for one day that others could be in my skin.
And marvel at what it is to be so yin.

I try to share in ways that open up the possibilities.
I believe that being awake to life would cease hostilities.

Because being fully present in a moment in time.
Allows us to be enough as we move into the sublime.

Today I am going out to the coast.
I crave a moment to get dosed.

The ocean is our mother and calls to my soul.
She wants to remind me that being fully alive was the only goal.

All those things that pull us away from what is real.
Only takes parts of us away and allows others to steal.

When we are fully here and present in our heart-felt quest.
That is when life truly becomes the best.
