Poem – Bending The Rules

While there are rules of this reality and dimension.
Some of them can be bent and are just a suggestion.

The Olympics shows us those courageous souls.
Who defy the odds and unlocked the controls.

I watch those that know what it is like to fly.
And they practiced every day reaching up into the sky.

They showed us that when one is balanced between the ground and the air.
That there is nothing that can limit a soul’s ability to express love as a prayer.

Watch these amazing souls reach beyond the norm.
In their hope and their desire to inspire and transform.

They bend the rules of gravity and physics.
And breathe in the inspiration of metaphysics.

They are the hope that humanity continues to hold.
That when we are brave, we can reshape and remold.

Being human is a gift beyond compare.
Even though life is clearly often unfair.

Discover the gifts that you have inside.
And don’t let anyone stop them or make you hide.

Because we have so much that we can transcend.
Even gravity is just something to recommend.
