Poem – Betrayals and Lies

Those that lie hold no honor inside.
Those that trust the lie, with betrayal eventually collide.

Betrayal is one of my favorite subjects to observe.
It attacks those who blindly trust and do not have the nerve.

The nerve to confront what is an obvious lie.
Their nerve is asleep, and they instead want to idealize.

The insights gained from betrayal are powerful and deep.
They are always about another making someone feel cheap.

I have learned that betrayal is a lesson to be learned.
It requires us to wake back up, so we don’t get burned.

A great cleansing fire is blowing our way.
But I have no fear and will not fall into dismay.

That fire is to burn through the illusions and lies that have been told.
It will do it in a powerful way that is ancient and old.

But those that have learned already about walking through.
Do not fear the fire that is about to ensue.

When one learns firsthand and changes their tune.
They cannot be harmed by lies launched like a harpoon.

I embrace the fire that is preparing to burn.
I know it is the only way that the masses will learn.
