Poem – Doomed Fate
I look out at a world that seems so very strange.
People out of their minds, in a cage, and deranged.
They believe in lies that suit their dysfunction.
Beliefs so deep that they create total malfunction.
They grit their teeth and will endlessly defend.
That what they cannot see will doom them in the end.
If the fate of their souls were not at stake.
I would try to leave them to their doomed fate.
But they are children lost in a storm.
Believing in lies that have become their norm.
With love and clarity, I intend to show the path.
But that only causes their demon to lash out in wrath.
I do not care if I am bloodied by their brazen attacks.
I know where my heart stands and how to not fall into hateful cracks.
They are children frozen from some trauma as a child.
They do not see that in that choice they let go of their inner wild.
The wildness would know that someone’s words are a trap.
The wildness knows when what someone says is filled with crap.
But I cannot stop them from the path they are on.
They will not change until everything they value is gone.
Then they cannot blame anyone else ever again.
And they will realize that it was themselves that were not sane.
