Poem – In The Silence Of The Snow

When love ignites … the mind goes still.
As the heart beats stronger to the energy thrill.
The mind quiets for the energy to filter in.
Too much thinking will not let love in.

The winds become softer, and the light shifts its tone.
Magic happens when young hearts find a home.
There is a pull of magnetism that draws many close.
Angels pop in, and so do a few ancestorial ghosts.

Everyone is drawn to the power love inspires.
That is because when two become one, it ignites many fires.
Creative passion inspires great things to discover.
It brings us closer to ourselves and this new lover.

Certain types of love begin with conversations.
Others need silence to lay new foundations.
But in the silence, volumes can be spoken.
And many things become healed … that were broken.

Secrets are shared because there is space for them to grow.
Love is a flower that blooms in the silence of the snow.
