Poem – Listen, Learn, Remember

Only if we listen … can we learn.
Only when we are open can we effectively yearn.
The more open the heart … the louder the call.
It is difficult to be heard above life’s squall.

But when we call out with all our might.
Something inside begins to ignite.
And the fires that fuel our soul into being.
Remember what it is to be again farseeing.

We are never lost but there is always more to be found.
Life can be confusing but can also astound.
Listen for those voices that rekindle the hope.
Listen for those words that allow us to better cope.

Angels are always listening but in the density we cannot always see.
That when we open our heart, they applaud with great glee.
Take this moment to thank the starry skies.
Take the time to remember that this life is a great prize.

Let the universe give you the confirmations you seek.
Watch for the signs that give such a powerful mystique.
Remember that this life is more precious than you know.
Allow that knowledge to give you more gifts to bestow.
