Poem – Thanksgiving 2024

Thanksgiving is here and we begin to dance.
One with the leaves we weave a trance.

We long for those tastes that make our heart sing.
We remember other times where many voices did ring.

Ring with laughter and great cheer.
Ring with the hope of an upcoming year.

We take this time to celebrate from where we have come.
We know that there is nowhere better … than home to run.

So take this moment and celebrate all of this life.
Embrace each challenge even the stress and strife.

We are not alive if we are cold and numb.
It is much better to embrace the good and the bad in every outcome.
